This Privacy Policy explains how the QuoteLift mobile application (“QuoteLift”, “the app”, “we”) handles personal information. QuoteLift is a business tool for contractors and small field-service crews to create quotes, collect signatures and deposits, and issue invoices to their own customers.

1. Who we are

QuoteLift is operated by SummasLabs. In this policy, “you” means the contractor or business user who signs into the app. People you invoice through QuoteLift are your customers — their data is entered and controlled by you.

2. Data we collect

a. Account data

• Email address
• Password (stored only as a hash by our authentication provider)
• Authentication provider identifiers (e.g. Google account ID for Google Sign-In)

b. Business profile data

• Business name, phone, email, address, city, country
• Default currency, tax rate, quote number prefix, uploaded logo

c. Your customers' data

When you create customers in QuoteLift you enter their contact details, notes and the quotes, invoices and payment history linked to them. You are the controller of this data.

d. Content you create

• Quotes, line items, deposits, validity dates
• Invoices and payment status
• Photos you attach from your device
• Customer signatures captured on screen
• Price book entries

e. Payment-related data

QuoteLift uses Stripe to generate payment links for deposits and invoices. Your customer pays on Stripe's own checkout page. QuoteLift never sees, stores or processes card numbers, CVCs or bank credentials.

f. Technical data

Diagnostic logs for bug fixing, and basic device information (e.g. locale) needed to render the UI. QuoteLift does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs that profile you.

3. How we use data

To let you sign in, store your quotes / invoices / customers / price book across devices, generate branded PDFs, create payment links, diagnose errors, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We do not use it for advertising.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies we rely on contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, bug fixing) and consent where legally required.

5. Third parties

• Supabase — authentication, database and file storage infrastructure.
• Stripe — payment processing for deposit and invoice links.
• Google — identity provider when you choose Google Sign-In.

We do not share your data with these providers for marketing purposes.

6. Where your data is stored

On infrastructure operated by the providers listed above. Exact region depends on provider configuration — United States (East).

7. Data retention

While your account is active we keep your data so you can use the app. On account deletion we remove associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required. Diagnostic logs are kept only as long as needed.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a data protection authority. Contact us to exercise them.

9. Security

HTTPS/TLS in transit, database access controls so you can only read your own data, password hashing by the authentication provider, least-privilege team access. No service can guarantee absolute security; we notify affected users as required by law.

10. Children

QuoteLift is a business tool for professional contractors. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Cookies and tracking

The QuoteLift mobile app does not use browser cookies. This website may use a minimal amount of strictly necessary storage for language preference; no advertising or profiling cookies.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves; the “Last updated” date will change and material updates will be communicated.
